BOATHOUSE OF CHAMPIONS VOL. 11
SPRING 2026
Welcome to the 11th Edition of Boathouse of Champions
I write in the “dog days of summer.” While it is beastly hot in some parts, the slower days from early July to early August offer us an opportunity to pause and take stock.
What a tremendous season Stanford rowing had this spring, one that started out strong and maintained momentum to the end. Please linger over the coaches' season recaps and senior reflections in this issue. Congratulations to our rowers and coaches for all the work that goes into each race stroke.
What all of us share, whether on a championship team or not, is being part of something larger than any individual accomplishment. And, whether you’re kicking back on a beach, dock, or porch this summer, racing in a boat, or tackling an adventurous feat, I hope you’ll take a moment to savor being part of the legacy of Stanford Rowing and to contemplate how being part of this has shaped you and your outlook on life. I know that for me, I treasure the gift being part of this community has been and continues to be in my life.
